Santa monika cruise
There are many tourist places in panjim . One of them is santa monika cruise which is located at the entrence of the city. There are many leisurely cruises which takes you along the mandovi river. While the boat sails down the river ,local boys and girls perform folk dances and sings mandos which representes goan culture. It takes you to panjim riverfront to miramar to witness a spectacular sunset. This boats are well decorated eith lights which looks ossum at night. This cruises sails down the river mostly at nite , it is closed at the day time. It also takes you to watch the beautiful Adil Shah Palace that was one of the first building in panjim city. This was the summer palace of sultan which was then used by the viceroy of portugal and finally by the government of Goa as its secretariat. By sailing down the river you will be able to see famous forts and places which are situated at banks of mandovi river.
